Michelle Maneevese, MD

Interventional Radiologist located in Houston, TX

About Dr. Maneevese

Michelle Maneevese, MD, is a fellowship trained vascular and interventional radiologist at Alate Health in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Maneevese received her education and training at the University of Texas at Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She then completed her training in interventional radiology at Yale in New Haven, Connecticut, with some of the world's leading experts in prostate artery embolization (PAE).

Dr. Maneevese’s practice focuses on women’s health -- uterine fibroid embolization, fertility, and pelvic pain -- men’s health -- urinary symptoms related to an enlarged prostate -- as well as a special interest in peripheral arterial disease that causes leg pain, ulcers, and varicose veins. Dr. Maneevese is currently one of only a few female providers of UAE in all of Texas and the only female provider of UAE in Houston, TX.

Dr. Maneevese believes wholeheartedly in caring for the patient as a whole. From the minute they call our offices at Alate health, she takes a hands-on and proactive approach in their care, treating all her patients as she would her own family. She also speaks Vietnamese to better serve Houston’s substantial Vietnamese population.

When she is not treating patients, Dr. Maneevese can be found working on global health initiatives. She is passionate about bringing interventional radiology to countries that lack access to care and travels at least once a year to Tanzania to perform minimally invasive procedures for their underserved population and also to train local physicians. Dr. Maneevese is currently a member of the Harris County Young Professionals Medical Society.
