Alate On Great Day Houston

On Tuesday, October 3, Dr. Doe visited Great Day Houston to chat with host Deborah Duncan about fibroids and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), a minimally-invasive procedure. Patient Aladraine Hart joined him to discuss how her UFE treatment changed her life.

Before Ms. Hart saw Dr. Doe, she was told that her only option for treating her fibroids was to get a hysterectomy. Between her low energy, heavy bleeding, and the anemia, she was desperate for a solution. Visiting Dr. Doe was like a breath of fresh air for her. He let her know there was another option for treating her fibroids, one that wouldn’t require her losing her uterus.

Dr. Doe explained how UFE works: by going into the arteries that feed the fibroids and stopping the blood flow, Alate Health is able to make the fibroids shrink, with minimal downtime for patients, meaning you can get back to work sooner. It is a wonderful alternative to hysterectomy.

Ms. Hart was so appreciative of Dr. Doe, who gave her another treatment option and made her feel comfortable every step of the way.
